The ground rules.

1. Who we are

"We" / "us" / "datsun.shops" means BitBouwer, LLC, the operator of the site at datsun.shops. "You" means anyone who uses the site, whether or not you have an account.

2. The deal

datsun.shops is a directory of automotive shops that work on Datsun vehicles. We curate listings, let users submit shops and write reviews, and offer a paid Featured tier to shop owners. The site is provided to you for free (Featured listings excepted), and we reserve the right to run it as we see fit while keeping the community first. See the About page for our pledges.

3. Accounts

Most browsing doesn't require an account. To leave a review, claim a shop, or subscribe to the Featured tier, you'll sign in with your email (we send a one-time magic link — no passwords). You're responsible for the security of your email account, since anyone with access to it could sign into ours through it.

4. Acceptable use

When you use datsun.shops, you agree not to:

• Post content that is unlawful, harassing, defamatory, hateful, or that doxxes another person.
• Submit fake or paid reviews, or attempt to manipulate ratings.
• Impersonate another person, business, or staff member.
• Scrape, mass-download, or otherwise systematically harvest the directory.
• Probe, attack, or attempt to disrupt the service.
• Use the site to send unsolicited messages or for any commercial use we haven't agreed to.

We can remove content, suspend accounts, or refuse service for any of the above, at our discretion. We try to be reasonable; we won't always be perfectly consistent.

5. Reviews and user-submitted content

You retain ownership of the reviews, shop submissions, and other content you post ("User Content"). By submitting User Content to datsun.shops, you grant BitBouwer, LLC a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, store, reproduce, and (for moderation purposes only — removing inappropriate content) modify it, in connection with operating the site.

You're representing that the content is yours to post and that posting it doesn't violate anyone else's rights. You can ask us to remove your User Content at any time via the contact form.

Our policy on review moderation: we don't edit honest reviews, even critical ones. We do remove content that is inappropriate (slurs, doxxing, off-topic spam) or that violates these terms.

6. Shop listings and claims

Anyone may submit a shop. Submissions are reviewed by us before going live. Shop owners may claim their listing by submitting a claim through the site; we review claims manually before granting ownership. Once verified, owners can edit the listing's contact details, hours, services, and photos. Claim approval doesn't transfer ownership of the trademark, brand, or business — only the right to manage the listing on this site.

7. Featured listings and payments

Verified shop owners may subscribe to a paid Featured tier. Featured listings are pinned at the top of search results, get a cover image and full description, and may show photos. Featured does not change a shop's rating, hide reviews, or buy preferential moderation.

Subscriptions are sold by BitBouwer, LLC and billed monthly. Card payments are processed securely by Stripe; we never see or store your full card details. Prices are shown and charged in US dollars and are exclusive of any taxes that may apply. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds are at our discretion and generally not offered for partial periods. You can manage your payment method, view invoices, or cancel from the billing page for your listing.

Price changes. The advertised price of the Featured tier is an introductory rate and may change for new subscribers at any time. If you are already subscribed, the rate you signed up at continues to apply for as long as your subscription runs without changes. If your subscription lapses or you cancel and later resubscribe, or if you move to a different plan or tier, the price current at that time applies. We will not change the price of an ongoing subscription without emailing you in advance, and you may cancel before any such change takes effect.

8. Disclaimers — please read

datsun.shops is a directory. We are not the shops listed here, we don't perform the work they perform, and we don't independently vet the quality of any shop's work. Reviews are written by users and reflect their personal opinions. Listings are supplied by submitters and shop owners.

The site is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We don't warrant the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

You are responsible for your own dealings with shops you find through the site. Any transaction, contract, or work performed is strictly between you and the shop.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BitBouwer, LLC and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the site, including (without limitation) damages for lost profits, lost data, or work performed (or not performed) by any shop listed on the site.

Our total aggregate liability for any claim related to the site is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) US $100.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless BitBouwer, LLC from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from User Content you post, your violation of these terms, or your interaction with any shop you find through the site.

11. Termination

We can suspend or terminate your access to the site at any time, with or without notice, for any conduct that we reasonably believe violates these terms or is harmful to other users or the service. You can stop using the site (and request account deletion via the contact form) at any time.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always at this URL with the "Last updated" date refreshed. For material changes that affect existing accounts, we'll make a reasonable effort to notify you via the email on your account. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws provisions. Any dispute arising out of or related to the site or these terms shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in North Carolina, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.

14. Miscellaneous

• If any part of these terms is held unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.
• Our failure to enforce any right doesn't waive that right.
• You may not assign these terms; we may assign them as part of a merger or sale of the business.
• These terms, together with our Privacy policy, are the entire agreement between you and BitBouwer, LLC about the site.
