Why this exists

A while back I needed shop help on my 240Z. I got lucky — a great shop happened to be 20 minutes away, and I only found it because I'd been deep in a forum thread when someone mentioned them.

Most people don't get that kind of luck. Search engines surface the loudest shops, not the best ones. Big review platforms mix Datsun specialists in with general auto repair, and the signal-to-noise is rough.

This is the trustworthy directory I wish I'd had — focused on Datsun, run independently, and oriented toward the community instead of extracting from it.

We don't edit reviews. We only remove genuinely inappropriate content — slurs, doxxing, off-topic spam. Critical reviews stay critical.

Not pay-to-win

Featured listings exist (and they help us pay the bills) — they get a visible "Featured" badge, pin to the top of search, and can show photos. They don't change a shop's rating, hide bad reviews, or buy their way around moderation.

Who's behind this

Hi, I'm joey. I've owned Datsuns since 2002. I still drive a 1972 240Z with an L28, a 5-speed, and triple Webers.

I run this site solo. It's not a startup, it's not a content farm. It's a side project that exists because I wanted the directory I couldn't find back when I needed one.

Is it free to use? +

Yes. Browsing, reading reviews, leaving reviews, and submitting a shop are all free.

How do shops get listed? +

Anyone can submit a shop via the Submit page. We review every submission before it goes live in the directory.

What does "Featured" mean? +

Featured shops are pinned to the top of search results and get a cover image, full description, and photos. It's a paid tier — $20.00 / month, an introductory rate. The price may go up for new subscribers later; if you subscribe now, your rate stays the same for as long as your subscription runs without changes. Featured does NOT change a shop's rating, hide reviews, or influence moderation.

Are reviews moderated? +

Lightly. We remove inappropriate content (slurs, doxxing, off-topic spam). We don't edit honest critical reviews — that's the whole point of being here.

How do I claim my shop? +

Can I edit my listing as the owner? +

Yes. Once your claim is approved, you'll see "Manage listing" on your shop page and the listing in My listings.
